Freedom Through Praise

One thing that has always amazed me is the power of praise. We can pray all day, but prayer is really nothing without praise. We find hope, joy and freedom through praise. In Acts 16:25-26 it talks about when Paul and Silas were in prison. In verse 25 it says: "And at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises to God and the prisoners heard them." Then, in verse 26 it says: "And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's bands were loosed."
When we shake the foundation of the prison with our praise, chains are broken. And the best part is, when we praise, chains aren't going to be broken tomorrow or in a couple of hours. The Bible says immediately!!

When you praise, the chains that held you captive, will break!!
